Coastside Veterinary Clinic is located at 8865 La Honda Road in La Honda, CA.  We are located in La Honda Center next to the US Post Office.

Our clinic consists of a main office, waiting room, and custom built mobile veterinary unit where all procedures take place.  The 26 foot long vehicle is powered by a gas generator and marine batteries.  The "Mobi" has central propane heating, air conditioning, two sinks and refrigerator.  The interior is roomy enough to treat dogs, cats, and an occasional alpaca or pot-bellied pig.  Four built in cages are available daycare and overnight stays.  

The clinic is equipped with a separate surgery room with an electronic lift surgery table which can be moved through the wall of the vehicle to assist loading animals on stretchers.  The vehicle has an Isoflurane gas anesthesia machine, oxygen, a dental scaler, polisher, air compressor, & drill for full dog & cat dentistries.  The built-in walk-on scale makes it easy to get accurate weights.  Other diagnostic equipment includes x-ray camera, film processor, and in-house laboratory.  Animals are evaluated during surgery with breathing monitors, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitors, and ECG. Dr. Lawson is assisted during surgery by experienced technicians.
